Aylin Erdiniz

I have been working in Early Years since 2008 and bring over a decade of experience supporting young children in their learning and development. I hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification in Early Years, a Montessori qualification, an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award for Special Educational Needs in Early Years Settings, a Diploma in Speech and Language, and a BA (Hons) Degree in Communication Sciences and Film Making.

My journey into Early Years began after working on a film project with children, where immersing myself in their world inspired a complete career change. Montessori training opened my understanding of child-centred learning and continues to strongly influence my practice.

I am deeply passionate about working with children, particularly those with special educational needs. I strongly believe in focusing on what a child can do and building on their strengths, rather than concentrating on limitations. I am committed to supporting each child’s individual learning journey by providing a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore.

I enjoy making each day engaging and fun, with a strong focus on supporting children’s communication through the use of props, visual supports, and Makaton to help children express themselves and connect with others.

Working at FMN since 2008 has been a privilege and has allowed me to continuously grow, learn, and develop both as an Early Years practitioner and as a leader. I take pride in supporting the wider provision by mentoring staff, supporting staff practice, and working collaboratively to ensure high-quality provision and positive outcomes for all children.
